I notice the ever increasing trend to allocate RPG's towards the console market nowadays. After going through a second round of Fable: TLC, I am in some serious need of a good RPG. Ahhh... how I miss the days of Fallout and Baldur's Gate. Planescape and Diablo. Deus Ex and FFVI.
Nowadays we get bombarded by simplistic meaningless rubbish like Neverwinter Nights 2D (don't get me wrong, the storyline was alright, but the control scheme, technical glitches, and horrid, horrid, AI was too much to bear), Oblivion (Durr... To complete this quest, follow the markers, because you're too stupid to figure it out on j00r own), and... and... and... heck! There's no other new RPG worth mentioning on the bloody PC!
Sigh... I really miss the old school days. Days when RPG's were hard and puzzle games were easy.
