Oh god...

Well...I suppose that can't be all that bad, as long as they don't destroy it.

you know bioware is making a sonic rpg for the DS right?
Yea, and they've also put in Fishing Minigames. It was a direct attack on modern Sonic games; they pretty much suck all-around.

It doesn't LOOK bad, but neither did Sonic Heroes and Shadow the Hedgehog. See my point?

Actually, I thought both looked terrible.

Besides, I think as long as Big the Cat isn't in it, I'd enjoy playing it.

I am just wondering what they would do for moves, if it was going to be an RPG. I think that special moves for Sonic right now are almost a one-trick pony. That is why I am curious to see what they do to the new Smash Bros. game. If they are going to have Sonic in there, what will he be able to do for his "B" moves?

B-Over is Spin Dash, B-Down is a Charged Spin Dash, and B-Up is the Spring. Yes, the Spring. And B-Standard is the Homing Attack.

Final Smash is Super Sonic, big surprise.

Off-topic entirely, but do you think that ANYONE is going to use a Wii controller to play this?

I expect to use the Wavebird, but I'll try them all first.

A New Challenger Appears!

Her name is Scheherazade. Seems to be an elvish swords woman by the looks of it. Hoping to see more info on her soon. 8)

Me likee the elfish chick. Though I hope she's not a literal elf, that'd be kind've lame.

I wonder where she falls on the good/evil spectrum, which is what Soul Caliber bases much of its story off of. I also wonder if she is supposed to be based off of a historic figure like Yoshimitsu and a few others.

Scheherazade is the name of the narrator of the Thousand and One Arabian Nights.

So yeah...expect some literary/arabic tie-in for her origin story.

As for how I instantly recognized the name...well...I read Kurt Vonnegut's Slaughterhouse Five and my english teacher at the time pointed this fact out when the name appears on a boat that passes Billy at one point in the story.
