I understand that it is a very serious fighting game. I'm not going to say there is less technique in it, it is just an odd child in the competitive fighting game world. I'm not trying to bash it or say that it takes any less skill, I'm just curious as to why I don't consider up to the level of Soul Calibur or Tekken. This is an internal debate.

I don't consider Brawl a serious fighting game as well. It's like saying Mario Kart is serious.

I just love it cause it's fun.

Anyway, I can attest that the previously mentioned fixes to the online problem do indeed work as my hands are currently shaking from being pissed at a Pikachu thunder spammer and at the inherent lag. The lag really sucks.

It's strange that the wifi on my wii works, but I can't get it to run on my DS. It's like the WEP entering thing on the DS doesn't work and if I turn off WEP protection, then I can connect. Huh?

Oh well... Guess I can only play DS online in other WiFi locations.

Why? Self-imposing rules is not fun at all. And what's the purpose of all those other characters if you're just going to limit yourself to one?

I merely said I personally don't consider it a serious game and as such, I won't play it like one. I don't think I ever play any game seriously though. If you want to have fun, give me a ring. If you want to be a boring ass who's intent is to alienate all your friends from playing the game with you, don't look at me.

So, I finally got to play Brawl. It was really good and a lot of fun. I really felt out of practice for Smash Bros. in general though. Hopefully, I can play Brawl again sometime. (I was playing it at a friend's place.) :D

its cause the more damage Lucario has the stronger his attacks get. Towards the 150% he's at ganandorf power, at 200% he's unstopable

until you smash him

It gets really fun in 15-minute multiman brawl. You get stronger and stronger as the game progresses, but the stronger you get, the harder you need to try to not get hurt. Completely paradoxical but completely fun. And your Hadokens become larger too. Me and my friends like to shout "KAAAAA... MEEEE.... HAAAAAA.... MEEEEE.... HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!"

Well... no... it's actually just me shouting that.

Don't know whether to laugh or cry at that statement.
