This is a Madoka side-scrolling game released at the last Comiket.

This is it's wiki entry.

I'm currently being enticed by it.

As, download links can't be put up, I have the download links with Mediafire, if anyone is interested.

Keep in mind, there is a newer version of the game, with the patch here. (Top download link.)

Congratulations on discovering the game that made me sleep at bloody 4 am every weekend...

Madoka is brutal on Walpurgis...

....and you didn't share it with us? :(

I'm going to play through it in a few days. (In one go.)

It's been out for a long time... Also, there is an update that enables online co-op.
For me, solo-playing was good... 3-Player was intoxicating XD As I am a Madoka fan, I really liked the game, and I played with another fan and a Madoka hatter, who had to admit that the game was pretty well made for being fan made.
In my case, the game was a little slow from time to time, and it has no sound. That was easily fixed playing Madoka's OST in the background with a music player XD
In our case, Kyoko was rather destructive through the game, except in Walpurgis.

Is this the unofficial update? Coz that one is so laggy it's almost unplayable...

Kyouko is a pure killer. On higher laps though, the ranged characters become more deadly. Solo play in those stages is also nigh impossible...

I'm gonna keep Madoka as my main. (Most because if you jump up really high and charge your attack, you sit there forever, and can heal.)

I've only tried out Homura and the blue haired girl (pardon my forgetfulness, she falls while charging.) and neither of them can do that.

You got GSOnline to work? I can't for the life of me. Did you do it on the same network or over the internet? (It always bugs me in the picture showing connecting to a 192.168.X.X network, which is internal not through the web. :? )

No, sorry, we used 3 joysticks locally to play. Never tried GSOnline, thou. Lack of time, people and WoW made it impossible XD

I'll wind up having to do that too. Know of any custom built 1500 mile cable makers?

I have found that the best character for an given level of difficulty changes as you advance through the game.

I actually have found Madoka to be one of the tougher characters to control at times. She is almost worthless in close quarters.

The secret I've learned (I haven't done a full round yet, only went through 3 or 4 witches) is to jump and then charge, and you'll heal. I agree she sucks at close-quarters, but still you can get out pretty easily.

>_> i dunno if it was my computer acting up or actually the game but my pc crashed twice in the middle of a lap ¬¬ so haven't played since =D

but he game is nice, and i like homura better when you get how to combo, here she pawns....madoka......well.....not bad n at close quarters just charge the X or do the special v.v.....that pretty much attacks/protects n lets u jump+charge to heal/recover
