yeah, but that's still marketed as a game, whereas this is a type of literature.

I don't see the difference. Unless you're saying that Quartett has no literary elements? (Amazing novel, by the way.)

lol i haven't played it but does it have choices like normal vns? if so then it isn't a manga...

Yeah, it does. Which just means it's literature with branching plot. The reason I advocated Quartett is the way its system is laid out. It's similar to that flash game.

If the choices are what gets you, there's already kinetic novels, though I haven't played any that shares the same system as Quartett.
