I read the manga a few weeks ago and found this series to be good and somewhat addictive. I just keep getting the feeling that the anime is screwing things up...my imagination?

I dont think its that bad, is it? Though I must say they dragged the Kanon episode,and some of the sequence is changed, but I don't think its all that bad, compared to how ruined some other animes are after the conversion. Most of the things are kept there, and they are rushing towards the plot I think. As long as they don't change too much, I won't complain.

True that. I just cannot wait until the Haqua arc. I just dread that Kugamiya Rie will be the seiyuu to do her voice. I can imagine Itou Kanae (Hinamori Amu et. al.) doing her voice though more or less.

Watch it, just for the idea of seeing and hearing the characters in motion. That alone is entertaining. Elsie is as clumsy as ever in both the anime and the manga.

The manga rox, the anime so-so, but its better than most animes out there, at least give the OP a shot, its GODLY in my opinion...

P.S. the short version of the OP, as in, the TV version... The full version is hilarious... First time I ever seen a song that lasts over 8 minutes, but only has the 2minutes worth of listening, which is the TV version, which is godly, compared to the other 6 minutes of nothingness.

The average song length for anime OP songs generally seems to be about 3-5 minutes roughly, but I think some of the Galneryus and X Japan songs are longer.

The manga is really good, the anime is not bad, though after watching episode 8, i prefer the manga version of that, a lot more.
