Light Novel Magazine Launching, Authors Wanted!

We are in need of three writers for the light novel magazine that is going to be launched next month online. Its the first of its kind and illustrators and writers are signing up.

You will have total creative liscense with your story. You can choose to do a short story or a series (where you release a chapter or more per month).

Please reply back if your interested, time is of the essance.

All that is required, besides making sure the content you write is PG-13, is that you make it ORIGINAL, CREATIVE, AND IMAGINITVE. Make the reader want to get the next issue to read the next part of your story.

The magazine will be published every two months.

I hope to see some applications.

We are being hosted by the internets leading english light novel website and the official site for the magazine should be up in a week or two.

Maybe... I'll have a tough time with the whole "Keep it PG-13" though. This is all time dependent too. If my current classes give me too much work then I won't be able to obviously. So deadlines are 2 month intervals right? When is the first one? And how many words does it have to be?

First issue is in 3-4 weeks.

You can choose short story or series (1 chapter per issue)

Page wise, a short story is 15-30 pages. A normal chapter would be 8-15 pages.

@Matt: in case one didn't make it to the list of 3 writers immediately needed, is there a chance to 'catch up'? i mean, still make it as author in any upcoming releases? i have a story (more like light novel..) in the works aboard my PC, but it's still very much rough, so i don't think i can make it before the 1st release..

Yes, we are accepting submission for the second issue.

Is there a limit to the number of authors you want? For example, If I had a prologue and chapter written out, is it too late to submit them? This is hypothetical. I guess what I mean is, if 2 months down the road I wrote a p-logue and chapter 1, could it get published in that issue? Or is it first come first serve, older projects have priority, or does it not matter how many authors there are as long as the stories are well writtin, without the *no:s* that can:t be put in?

We dont have a limit on authors. If you had something right now, it could make it into the first issue still.

Okay, I have something. I'm just working on finishing up some touches...and turning it in from paper to word...

Do I email you the file or what?

Also, I'm not sure if it's a light novel...I haven't been able to read the light novels in Japanese enough to know what kind of format is used, so I've been going with the american novel way of intending paragraphs, and so far there has been very little dialogue...is this okay?
