Two threads in two days? Even I haven't broken that record.

Sadly, the only place I could really go to buy books would be Kinokuniya in Little Tokyo (Los Angeles.) And with my figure shelf lacking, my money is already going to get figures.

The only L.N.'s I have are Haruhi and Spice and Wolf, but will be expanding the collection slowly.

This title "Mayoi Neko Overrun!" caught my attention. From what I know that translates to "Lost cat overrun!" (stray cat if you feel like putting that) ......care to explain?

To derail the topic again, Mayoi Neko is about a guy and his harem in a club known as Stray Cats (or is the name of the confectionery which his foster sister who has big boobs own, I can't remember which). Stray Cats is about helping people in need (the people who need help are called 'Stray Cats' --> they are lost you see), and this foster sister who is a Tennen (in appearance) travels around helping people and picking up cats literally as well, so their home is full of cats. And I think a club is started by this rich loli which tries to do that, or something like that, and she also became part of the harem. So the guy and his harem basically helps people in every volume. The help they render usually involves relationships with people (like fixing a broken relationship, filling the gaps of someone's heart, etc. etc.). I forgot to mention the guy is an orphan, and the first girl in his harem is his childhood friend who is also an orphan and a tsundere twin tail (twin tails right? IIRC). The guy and the tsundere are basically 'Stray Cats' picked up by the guy's foster sister as well, and they became part of her family. While there are a number of people who are shipping for the other supposedly main girl of his harem, who is a Stray Cat appearing naked in volume 1 (well I think she did appear naked though I can't remember), but I'm pretty much shipping for Fumino, the tsundere twin tail.

The funny thing about this series is that I can hardly remember the details of all the stories, but what I can remember is the feel of the stories. Despite the way I tried to grossly misrepresent the series , it's not a harem-centered series even though all the girls like the guy. And there are heartwarming scenes here and there which makes it a decent read, even though it's not as fantastic and hooking as other light novels I'm reading.

Well, I've certainly been hoping for some heartwarming things lately. (Moe heartwarming, not a ecchi overload feeling.) This thing has a anime adaptation I might look into, if it is even slightly heartwarming. Now, unless you respond to this:

Luckily, and also for me surprisingly enough, my local bookstore which sells LNs (also probably the only one in my country) are pretty... uh, "generous" in regards to them. I've browsed a number of titles and most of that are just because I wanted to see the illustrations

But so far I haven't bought any even when I had the money for at least a volume.

- Boku to Kanojo no Game Sensou: Illustrations by Happoubijin, yum. Still wondering what is it about when I've already took a peek inside for a few times already...

- Heavy Object: ... The latest volume available in the store has Floritia in BIKINI! Yummy... oh, looks like I'm seeing... uh, Kwenser seems to have trigyered Floritia's flags... if it's as what I believe, then I might buy it to dissect the story and see how nice it feels to know.

Woo, fellow LN hoarders. I was thinking the other day I should stop buying LNs and manga and just hunker down and read what I already have, while trying to wait out the strong yen. But instead I signed up for a Kinokuniya membership and now think I need to get everything while I have the discount.
