We all know who's number one, post any of your speculations (other than first place novel category) while we wait in a few short days' time.

My top speculations (a little biased perhaps
, though I don't really like Oreimo at all):

I believe the weightage format will not be changed much from last year. My only complaint will be the monitor group which should push the age limit to early 20s. And increase the sample size.

Anyway, the latest rumors:

4 ダンまち (dungeon deai) (SERIOUSLY? I really misjudged it based on the title

7 東レ (Tokyo Ravens)
8 六花 (Rokka)
9 俺妹 (Oreimo)
10 ノゲラ (NGNL)
The source is apparently from an accidental leak from a bulletin board mistake by a large book store.
I don't know how true this is but if it's true, it's really exciting. Tells me what are the good stuff I missed or misjudged.
Now somebody can go repost this elsewhere if they like.

Actually, I don't really know how it would go down this year- I've been out of the loop for all LN except Kamachi's.
Now that Oregairu is in top place, it's really anybody's guess ^^ The usual suspects would be there (SAO/Index/Mahouka), but I think Date A Live might find their way in... And not to mention... Infinite Strato =_=
On a positive note, hopefully Mao-sama would be in as well.

Rumors are proven true. This year's ranking is like a joke to me. I mean Ore Twintails beating so many godly works? Seriously??

Even if you say 'beaten', after like #20+ or something, the difference between ranks are miniscule ^^;

How the heck did Horizon lost 50 places in one year?
Magdala de nemure only 46 :/
Baccano didn't manage to rank this year.
Kagerou days is surprisingly at the 41st place.
Kino no Tabi has fallen hard as well.

Thats what Baka-tsuki's about. We translate them here for others to read in English (for whatever reason we do actually do it). If its popular and we don't have it, its likely a published one like spice and wolf or (soon) SAO. Which you'll be able to find at a local bookstore. Haven't you been on the main site before though?

Haha, Zefyris, I actually saw the post before you. But I can only say the same thing 3 times a year then give up.
Anyway, Danmachi is overranked imho. Even a rank of 11-15 will be a pretty good rank for it.
I'm more interested in Alderamin. Looking at the Konorano comments from the voters, it appears that there is a strong emphasis on strategy and tactics and no flashy stuff or weapons. It also depicts the reality of war. I probably will pick it up for reading next year.
