man i wondering why there isn't a new translations or any discussion of this manga. is great. but it seem it doesn't get much credit. why?

Messiah is awesome , so awesome that I recommend reading at least three volumes just to see how awesome it is. 8)

Just read volume 7 ch0(!?) and I'm a bit confused. Because according to it,

it's been a year since Haruna became the "previous priestess" (I think she died) and Shinya had lost his memory when The Guide to Salvations got burned.

I'm guessing it'll go over what we missed in the past year, but I'll be really sad if she really did die. I mean thats a hell of a time jump when the story developed so far.

It's obvious what happened. The author got sick of drawing Shinya looking so wimpy and so rather than wait for him to buff up a bit, the following conversation occurred:

Minazuki Suu: "Hmm, now how can I go about making him look less wimpy without it being too obvious? Mmmm..... Aha! I got it! A time skip! Genius!"

Editor: "Umm, but it seems a little confusing this way sensei..."

Minazuki Suu: "I said it's GENIUS."

I like how Shinya isn't as wimpy anymore, but there were better ways to develop him without the need of a time skip.

And Shinya just isn't Shinya without Haruna around.

This manga has got me by the nuts. I want to read more of this even more than see'ing the next Ep of Code Geass. :shock:
