I looked around the forum, and I am kind of surprised that this has not become a topic yet. But here goes: list/link your favorite music videos of all time. Either that or put do it for what you think is the best music video of all time. Please list why you think it is the best if you go for the latter category.

Here is my first pick for best video:

Dream Theater: Forsaken

Besides the fact that all of the members of Dream Theater are virtuoso musicians in their own right, the video makes the difference. For this video, Dream Theater approached Gonzo for the awesome anime animation. This in addition to the rocking guitar line by John Petrucci (arguably one of the best guitarists in the world) makes this song and video a win for me.

I don't usually come across many official music videos to the songs I like so I've never been a fan. Thus why I usually resort to AMVs.

I never said that the video had to be an official music video. If you want to suggest an AMV or whatever, go right ahead. I could care less.

Ah, then just refer to any of my AMV threads or the recommended song thread.
