Well, in a sense, he is brilliant, but when it comes to music, it kind of shows that he did not go to music school, even though I like a lot of Touhou music.

Well it must have been hard for him to create all that. Music theory is supposed to make it easier.

It makes it difficult to actually play for real people on real instruments, if not impossible.

Music theory can help, but "forgetting" that music theory can help one stay fresh and creative.

Well his entire point of making the games was to showcase his music....You know...he has to worry about the game itself too...not easy at all. Some want it easier...many want it harder etc.

The game. Frankly, I think that it would not kill ZUN to up the graphics a bit or change the approach of Touhou games to get closer to the more mainstream video game trends.
