anyway, I am 93% done with Chapter 3 already. will do up the final bit (a bit over 3 pages) when I feel like it. it is just a cliffhanger anyway.

uh...you're surprised? this arc was expected to end in vol 10. you shouldnt be surprised about a clifthanger at end of 9...

P.S. do not read the Chapter 3 translation yet. it will burn your eyes and you will bleed to death.
actually I just noticed some missing words when I am reading through the translation just now. will do something about it next tuesday when I am free.

I'm caught up now, good work Deskoh and Magus, looking frward to reading the final pages of your chapters soon!
As for the story itself, it feels like half a book... like it wasn't planned to be split in two, at least so far. Is the Alpha story for book 9 done? Is that really how it ends? If so, it seems like Wtflux or whoever originally was posting spoilers for book 9 a few months back wasn't telling us the truth.

its LQY. dont blame him, he is quite a nice guy. it is unofficial info after all. he hit some parts, but missed some as well.
regarding the "half a book" part, I thought so as well. as I mentioned previously, I think it is Kadokawa trying to milk the franchise for all it is worth. they could have published it like Volume 7 but they do not want to.
