ばか！バカ！　馬鹿ー月！

I believe that this would be my first thread/post in this lovely forum, so lemme introduce myself a bit.

I'm from the Philippines, an online game and anime fan-connoisseur. Currently addicted to the Haruhi series and ardent Yukiist, but I also dabble in a bit of Kyon/Harem-ism.

Sadly, my knowledge of Japanese writing is limited to the Hiragana/Katakana table, and some few basic words, so the most I could probably try to help in the translation project is grammar fixes. XD

Now with that out of the way, on to the meat:

My goodness, Kyon certainly has attracted quite a harem, hasn't he? Let's see...an hyper-yet-omnipotent girl, a time-traveler lady, an extremely dependable humanoid interface - all of them who happen to be the three of the most beautiful girls in North High, if I'm not mistaken. Now an old lady friend of his - "who exudes a charm that is able to mesmerize eight out of ten guys” - enters the scene, along with two companions.

What interests me most is Kuyoh, and this line she uses to describe Kyon:

She looked at me, with a look like she was looking at the carvings on a copper clock-

"___ Your ___"

Kuyoh talked in a voice that's like an old and off tone tape:

"Eyes_____ very _____ pretty."

And spat out that perfectly meaningless line.

Something I wouldn't expect from a humanoid interface who is even more distant than Yuki.

The harem just keeps getting bigger and bigger. XD

You make a good point, that new alien girl is weird. Look at the pictures, I believe she is the one with really long, poofy, black hair. But, forget all those girls because we all know who it's gonna be in the end!

Hey, an overly-imaginative harem-addict can dream, yes?

What I meant to say that even an extremely weird and distant alien girl(yes, even weirder than Yuki - which can be a good thing XD) actually finds Kyon's eyes 'very pretty'. He must have some pheromone power to even get someone like Kuyoh to say such things. XD

Maybe Kyon actually has powers after all, hmm?

The power to make girls(and one male esper -cough-) fall in love with him, whether he likes it or not. Poor Kyon.

Now all that remains is Miyoko returning to the scene and declaring her affection for Kyon, and boom, my theory is now valid. >:3

I'm pretty sure this entire topic is a spoiler. I haven't read it because I'm still on chapter one. If it is, can you rename the topic and add spoiler?

I think it's probably because he wants to *shield* his true feelings.

Actually, you could actually apply the

to Koizumi, as he often reassures Kyon that they will protect Mikuru. But as for the

part...well...you know what THAT means when using Koizumi's viewpoint.

Well, I guess it's less on what she does in the story, but more on what she WILL do(-wink-Asahina(big)-wink-) that gives her the edge.

Besides, we need moar cute moe girls.
