I don't really bother with it. I can never think of anything good, and I always hated people who tried to pull off dumb jokes.

My friends did 'Post-It Note' my room mate's side of the dorm room my freshman year, that was pretty funny!

We had about six packs of 100, but they didn't really cover the entire area. It was good enough to get a laugh though.

I got arrested by a setup shoplifting for April Fools when i didn't steal anything. The samgoody managers and cops were in on the joke. I am so mad. I never got my friend back for that.

@Dan: Thats what mines going to look like, but the post-its will be right on top of each other, covering EVERYTHING. The room isn't that big so I am going to cover his whole half.
