hmmm...I've been wondering about this, for a while.

Why did they call the main character "Shiki", i probably wouldn't of bothered asking, this if i haven't seen the Male Shiki in Tsukihime anime.


But now that i have, which shiki you think is best?

Male of Female?

Shiki-boy is too indecisive for my taste, and his personality is rather typical anyway. Shiki-girl, on the other hand, rules. Aside from being undefeatable in a fight, she's a cool and original character on her own.

but...but..male shiki is pretty cool later on....plus he does get to sech a vampire.... how many main characters can boast that?

The Shiki in the anime is kind of a wuss in comparison to the one in the visual novel or manga. At least the Shiki in those two can mix it up well with his enemies.

The given order tends to be Ryougi Shiki > Nanaya Shiki (demonslayer blood persona) > "Tohno" Shiki > Tohno SHIKI. Ryougi has infinitely more h4x than any of the others... which makes her automatic number 1.

If you want violent and murderous though, the Tatari version of Nanaya Shiki in Melty Blood is more cold-blooded than even Ryougi. Its modus operandi is to kill everything else with a smooth smile on its face. Absolutely rocks to play it, too.

Well, maybe, but... smiling murderous guys aren't as cool as smiling murderous girls. IMHO.

Well, I don't really mind, but I'm hardly familiar with any killer lolis. Also, my love for killer girls is not limited to lolis or anime. Selene from Underworld rules. And, call me old-fashioned, but my affection only goes for those who are on the "good side". I mean, villain women who jump at you while laughing evilly are nothing but obnoxious.

Must admit. female Shiki, does have a possessive haruhi streak for Mikiya, which i quite enjoyed.

But honest, how can you top an inbred, killing machine like Male Shiki?

sure in the anime he was slightly wussy....but he had sech with a vampire!

more like when she killed the floating ghost thing, because it kidnapped him, and she ran up and said something along the lines of "i saw him first, he belongs to me.....give him back"

and as i been rading the latest chapter, she gets quite "frustrated" when he's absent


now if shiki rapes Mikiya that'll make me lean toward female shiki.
