I just noticed a preorder form insert in the latest volume of Rental Magica .

For the benefit of those who cannot understand Japanese, the preorder is a limited edition that comes with extra 64-page booklet with all color pages (only in Japan). As already known, volume 10 will be divided into 2 books, with a total of about 600 pages. With the preorder in place, the release date should be pretty much set in concrete.

However, the most interesting piece of information is this: it will be a worldwide release on the same day. Now, why will there be a worldwide release for a Japanese light novel?? Does it mean in all worldwide stores that sell Japanese novels? Or...... (leave it to your imagination)

by the way, after doing some look-up on the official site. at least Taiwan, Hong Kong, and South Korea are going to get the translated versions on the same day! well for me, I gonna preorder the Japanese version

Back on topic, are we going to translate the new novel or what? It is coming out tonight in several countries. Frankly, I would like to read it before I turn 50, at the rate Little Brown Books is going. However, I would rather keep things legit and legal, if possible. I would hate to have TGM get another C&D letter/lawsuit.

As for the question about translation; personally, I'm rather against it. Besides, I think there are enough fans out there that may translate it, considering how quickly the Sneaker preview was translated.

The 0 delivery charge is because it's sent inland to my proxy courier. That will save me about ten SG bucks compared to direct shipping from Amazon. I may get it only 2 or 3 days later than direct shipping though. (>_<)
