Spoiler! :
A saber in the right hand, a main-gauche in the left hand. With wooden swords of varying lengths in both hands, two shadows were squaring off against each other.

From the weapons wielded by both, it was evident that they were utilizing the same style. However, if we were to describe the sight of the two as mirror images of each other, the gap between their build would be too much for it to be appropriate. A man in his prime standing a little over 6 feet tall, with a well-tempered musculature that emanated a steel-like intensity. Opposing him --- was a little girl who probably had not even had her 10th birthday yet.

"............" "--- --- ---"

From a window positioned high up, the morning sun rays shone through onto the pair, who were glaring at each other at an interval short of striking distance. Their connection was not confined to their sword style, as was revealed by their blazing red hair.

There was not the slightest movement that could be seen from the pair as they faced each other, but in actual fact, below the surface, fierce tactical maneuvering was taking place. A shift in the gaze, a change in the center of gravity, a transition in stance --- looking out for these, probing for a weakness, the pair were attempting to perceive the correct offense and defense from their accumulated experience. What the two had exchanged wordlessly was no doubt, the very art of 「Combat」 which had been honed through a ceaseless number of years.

Thus and so, it would be clear in anybody's eyes that the girl was at a disadvantage. Since they both trained in the same style, no matter what the circumstances might be, it would be difficult to overturn the advantage held by the more experienced senior side. The overwhelming difference in their builds also reinforced the girl's unfavorable position. --- However.

Despite that, like an enlightened heart that knows only conviction, there was not the slightest bit of murkiness in the girl's deep crimson eyes which were looking fixedly at her opponent. She was there to win. She was wielding her swords to cut down the opponent before her. --- Even if the opponent was generally acknowledged to be the strongest living thing on earth.
