I have no issues if he wishes to translate volume seven or even volume zero, but I'm not sure based on that page's information whether he intends to translate for the wiki or as an external project. If he wants to translate as part of this Baka-Tsuki project, then I would insist on being allowed to make quality control edits so that we preserve consistency in quality and terminology (and my edits are highly invasive so it might not be what everyone is comfortable with). Please ask him to contact me personally and iron out the details, if he decides to pick Rakudai. He is welcome to translate the series separately from me, of course.

So you will continue to to translate the novel right, from the looks of it rakudai may not win the vote

If he is registered for the chapters, he plans on translating it, if he is not he still might later on but someone else who wants to can. Those are my two cents anyway - KLSymph might disagree.

Frozen's site says that they will start working on Vol 7 next month. So will it be part of Baka-Tsuki?

I've been told they will put a copy on Baka-Tsuki for me to quality-check, as well as on their external site.

@KLSymph So not sure this is the correct way to suggest this but hear me out. I know Rakudai already has an editor listed as the image guy but he doesn't seem to have done much post book 2. I have some experience with photo editing and I noticed that none of the stat cards have been translated post that either. I don't have the skill to do the color pics but with translations of the stat cards I could easily updated them using the old ones as a template. If you or the project in general is interested please let me know!

I don't mind if you'd like to try image editing the character profiles.

Here's the first character card from volume three.

I recommend rethinking the font-weight used for the profile data, since heavy fonts don't work well with dense text. The Kagamin Check text should be in a script-family font that suggests handwriting, to match the Japanese text (not that this was done in previous profiles either, though). Also, try not to have text go over the page margins.

Okay I'll try to update it later and fix those issues. I'm having text readability problems because of how small the font needs to be to fit in the image so I need to find some way of dealing with that.

Reports of my death are accurate. I am now a ghost, haunting the project.
