[ch 4] Even though the frequency of the fault lines...

Post by Guest »

"Between one time frame and another there exists so-called temporal fault lines. Even though the frequency of the fault lines are near zero they do exist; so, there is no continuity between different time frames."

Regarding Asahina's explanation- given that she describes the frames as being like those of an animation (where the fames are so close together that they appear continuous), puts the faults between those frames, and says there is no continuity at all in time, the faults should have an extremely HIGH frequency of occurence, not low.

Basically, if there's a fault every planck time (or whatever) seperating time into animation-like frames, there are a lot of faults, not few. Given that it gets translated as few faults rather than many almost everywhere, I think this is just an inconsistency in the original text, but it's definitely inconsistent.
