Spice and Wolf Season 2

Post by Pavick »

I thought for sure there would be a discussion about the second season. I was wondering if anyone knew how much of the plot it is going to be covering. perhaps volumes 3 and 4. The first episode was pretty good by the way. It basically covered all of volume 3 chapter 1. I bet the second season will bring more readers to this forum.

I heard somewhere that the second season will be covering volumes 3 and 5, skipping over the fourth. The new OP and ED seem to confirm this, as none of the volume 4 characters are shown.

I notice that I have to put this here...but I don't know if it will get enough views...

Anyway, if you want to see hilarious commercials by the Voice actors who play Lawrence and Horo using puppets, check these three videos out. They come from here:

And I've subbed them myself ^_^ (yay I'm learning.)

Here are the links:

I think you'd be glad you checked these out

LOL Spice and Wolf second season totally skipped Book 4 of the novels. LOL. I'm a bit disappointed in that.

apparently the novel insulted the directors mother so he took his revenge....or something like that. :P

from the way things look, it will probably make things tough for another season while at it, if the ending is the same as volume 5 that is?

Not sure if this should even be spoiler-ed
Spoiler! :
Next volume started with the part immediately from the end of volume 5, and its hard to link inbetween seasons like that

Well the season finally ended, and as ShadowZeroHeart predicted it did end like volume 5. Although it may be difficult to continue in another season, it won't be impossible so I'm hoping for a season 3 sometime soon :D

Well, if they intend to make a season 3, they better do it soon, or else the ending of season 2 may fade from everyone's minds...

Of course, they can make it such that it doesnt follow the novel that closely, but as supporters of B-T and the original Spice and Wolf Novel, we won't want that do we?

My thoughts for season 2 S&W is that they kinda sped thru a lot, and the scene skipping is very sudden... So the mood is a little hard to come across...

Its still slow and detailed compared to the crap that was done to ZnT though.

I was ok with this season, some parts skipped annoyed me but overall it was fine. Maybe, because after witnessing the horror of ZnT adaptation nothing looks as bad...

O boy, ZnT, don't remind me...

I kinda like the way they went through the first arc, but the second arc seems a but rushed to me. Either way, one can only hope that they will continue their adaptations.

Btw, anyone seen the special OVA? (Don't get your hopes up, its almost 4 mins long)
