I'm not sure about the second clause in this sentence. I can guess that it's something along the lines that she's giving the impression of being capable but the last two words are throwing me off.

I'd say that 漂わせて in this case is the way her impression is put out there, and 乾る means to dry, or to end.
Is just how I'd translate it as. Specifically, her impression's hanging in the air before it dries up or crystallizes or something, but it's a little obscure to put into English.Her brick-coloured hair and neat features gave off the impression that she was quite capable, and in truth, she was also deeply trusted by Ordova.
Even eternity can be encased in ice.
