[Log Horizon] Help with translation [JPN+CHN]

Post by ddadain »

Before you ask, I made a new topic because we need A LOT of help since our translator is MIA and my CN and JP is not very good (cause I don't know how words are pronounced, just know what they mean)... so better have our own topic.

Anyways, need help with:

〈神聖皇国ウェストランデ〉は斎宮家をウェストランデ皇王家の後継と認めて戴く国家である。

Specifically: 〈神聖皇国ウェストランデ〉 & 斎宮家

〈神聖皇国ウェストランデ〉 = > <Westelande Imperial Dynasty>
Is the above an okay renditon?

Also,
In the CN raw, it's: 斋宫
Now I've tried looking it up online and it says either "Saiku/Saigu" or "Itsuki"... dunno which...

Thank you very much.

For 〈神聖皇国ウェストランデ〉 I would try <Holy Empire of Westlande> or something about it, since 神聖 means sacred/holy and 皇国 Empire...

And for the 斎宮家 these links should help, (or no)

Ah sorry sorry, didn't copy paste the right one... was sleepy...

〈威斯特兰迪皇王朝〉 <--- This is the "new term" for the ancient dynasty

Tentatively rendered as "Westelande Imperial Dynasty" and asking whether this is okay? Or is there a better term?

Also for the other one, what I'm asking is how to romanize the term... is it "Itsuki" or "Saiku" or both(?) since it seems they are interchangeable.
