in the japanese text, it's

春紗学園男子寮

wow...love how similar Chinese and Japanese are . Anyway, I say it's perfect, but say academy instead of school. Here's why (I think.)

学校(Gakkou)-School
学園(Gakuen)-More prestigious school. Academy.

So the above text, 春紗学園男子寮, would sound most accurate if it was Harusha Academy XXX Dorm. 男子 here is male, but then younger. Young Men...doesn't sound too good, sticking with men or man's will work.

EDIT: As for the female maid, I see メアリー 　サバント Which I would say somthing like....Mearie Savant hmmmm...first name is hard. I guess we could just use "Marie Savant"

They are exactly the same...
學 is traditional chinese, whereas 学 is simplified chinese...
Japanese uses a number of chinese words in its language...
One reason I heard is the upcoming of new items and names... Like computer... It is not originally in the japanese language, so they took up the chinese words for it... But I am not sure how true this is... may need someone who understand japanese history and literature to tell us for sure

Near the center of chapter 1... (In my chinese text, Chapter 1 is page 3 to 49, it appears respectively in pages24, 25)

Zadou's father is asking them what the lamp is and Sierra gave a funny answer, then mocks Jin. Jin then tries to bring forth some (useless) knowledge he possesses (to kill us translators), saying that he knows this term.

Later on, the two tries to avoid the (Believed to be insane) father of Sierra, one using the funny answer made by Sierra, while the other talks about this item once more. Basically it is the only 2 times it appears i believe?
