Pui Pui Manga Translation

Sadly, I searched up all the usual places and couldn't find any Japanese raws. If someone can find raws, I'll translate it and vaelis seems willing to typeset, so...

Note: Should I have raws, I will still be translating very very slowly due to my poor skills. Expect 1-3 pages per week at first.

Mod Edit: I have no idea what happened to the previous post, most of selected the wrong "split" option.

meh.

Don't think anyone cares anyway...

Raws for... the manga?
I only have chinese ones... should i do what i did for those few pages if so? I mean, so far there is only 1 volume, so its not that insane like a novel volume translation... besides, i am having a week break after this week.

I found solid RA*S for the Manga at a Book Off close to my house. 2 Manga Volumes are out, Volume 1 and Volume 2. However, I don't have a scanner, and my camera quality is...eh. But I can mail them (though it's a bit expensive...)

As for the novels, any well known store that stocks more than Dengeki Bunko novels (MF Novels for example, as that's what puipui is), should have them. there were all 9 at Gamers and Animate.

Fiend, that makes two of us ^_^. I've already bought novel #1, and downloaded volumes 1-7 RAUZ, so yeah....haha. But it's not the manga...and while I do have Japanese hard copy's of the manga, that doesn't help me in bringing it to others if I can't actually scan the pages in...O_o

But this is a very interesting series so far, and has really peaked my interest. I also want to say the grammar and vocabulary is easier than Spice and Wolf, because I can actually read a sentence or two now and then ^_^. Also, from what I've read from the beginning of the novel, the manga is extremely accurate. example: even the same line about "Is there a problem with your eyes?" when Sierra asks the guy why he doesn't worship her in her glory, is the same in the novel. :)

Yes, the words used are very very similar. There are some slight differences, and some parts where it might be better to be seen in manga to actually see what happened(and to see how cute their actions are at times), but the novel is good too.

The first volume of the manga goes close to half of volume 1? Not sure how far it goes in volume 2, need Krikit to tell us that though =X

Wonder when they will translate the rest? =X haha!

P.S. Krikit, it may not be that easy to translate the novel
Spoiler! :
Some names, but that is not truly important... but the story is told regarding the story of Solomon. And you are likely to have difficulties translating that part i believe?

I did see this in the manga. The guy is searching for something of Solomon's. His ancient treasure? I'll see when I get down into translation. But I'm pretty sure what I don't get in translation, I can make up for by reading the Israel's King Solomon's story in the books of 1 and 2 kings, in the Old Testament of the Bible. Also gives me a way to keep reading His word ^_^.

For the font use Wild Words and use a smaller size of font.
It's better to save the page in .png
The pictures are too big you can reduce the height to 1600 pixels.
Use the leveling tool so that the black is really black and the white is really white.
Clean the dirt outside the panels.
