Yeah that's what it's been translated as. I brought it up for debate before, but I guess we'll just stick with that then. Adding to wiki.

i'm posting this here because there's a new term involved.

だがその頃はまだ、化練剄の基礎を学ぶために強制的に彼の出身であるナイン武門に入れられていた。

Something about Claribel entering Troiatte's Military Arts stream but I can't figure out where that name is in this long string of Japanese words.

Literal meaning: "But because that time she's still studying the basics of Karenkei she was forcibly entered into the fighting school where he hails from, the ナイン."

The only new term I see here is the ナイン武門 --> ナイン (warrior clan), (fighting style), (military school). Is this you're looking for?

By the way ナイン can mean anything for a proper name. Nine, Nain, Naine, your choice ...

It's just a pronunciation translation. The name doesn't mean anything in Chinese.

From what I gather, the words that seem to come up in normal Japanese usage for ナイン are the terms nine (as in the number) and the German word Nein (for 'no'). I don't really have enough context into that dojo to distinguish whether it's a proper name or it's more like a title such as "School of the Nine" or "School of naught." Whether or not they even provide more info, I have no idea.

don't worry about it. Just stick with the pron. :D
xstar, would you mind being in charge of updating the name list whenever any new names are mentioned in this thread? I think you're the better person to do it as you set up the wiki format for the terminology list and have been updating it.

I came across the term, ディジー (DG) in reference to an illegal Kei accelerating drug while translating A Day For You 02. I assumed it's the same thing as "Beneficial Gel" and so I looked up the term in volume 04. Apparently It's the same drug, and uses the same name. Everyone OK with me posting it as DG on the terminology list?

I'm lost.... are you saying the transliteration is just "DG"?
and yes, that Kei accelerating drug is "Beneficial Gel".

Adding the Training Complex (練武館{れんぶかん}) to the list of terms. It's a little straight forward, but the exact term doesn't show up in any of the Kanji dictionaries I use so at least for my own consistency if you know what I mean.
