New stuff for the newly finished Volume 17 Chapter 1:

升曜光辉 - Radiant Ascension. First appears ~77% through the chapter.

缲弦曲·雪崩崩落 - Sougenkyouku Nadare Houraku. 80%.

静一闪 - Not too sure, for now named it Tranquil Flash. Might something to do with Sendan. 82%.

Not too much for a gigantic chapter.

Finally, we should clarify one more thing: 'bento' or 'bentoe'? After some Googleing, I think it's 'bento'.

External-type Kei, Karen variant - Dawn's Radiance (昇曜光輝{しょうようこうき}) (Shouyoukouki) - Very liberal translation, closest I can get while attempting to keeping it simple

External-type Kei variant - Sougenkyouku Nadarekuzushi (雪崩崩し{なだれくずし})

Heaven's Blade Art - Silent Flash (静一閃{しずかいつせん}) (Shizuka Itsusen)

It's spelled Bentou (弁当{べんとう}). The dropping of the "u" is just a severe bastardization/misspelling on part of English speaking community over the course of several dozen years. By the way, the "u" is just to signify an elongated "o" sound.

There was one thing in Volume 17 Chapter 2 that I wasn't sure about. The Chinese characters were 妾身等, and Schneibel says it five times close together at around the 55% mark, twice with the characters for Electronic Fairy (電子精霊) right afterwards.

Other than that, nothing new.

妾身 is an archaic form of feminine first person pronoun in Chinese, usually corresponding to 妾(わらわ/warawa) in Japanese.

妾身等 = we/us (feminine)

I'm having trouble figuring out which term in this scene you're talking about. Can you quote one of the lines from your translation to give me a more definitive bearing? None of the unique terms I'm noticing seem new.

Got it from zzhk's explanation, thanks.

Since it means 'we', I can understand why Xstar didn't find it noticeable. lol. Darn archaic language.

Yeah that would explain it. No problem. If you pull a sentence from your English script, I can just cross reference the line for future reference.

Xstar, when you have time, could you add the terminology from the middle of Volume 13 Chapter 1 Part 1 (Zero Territory, Zetsuen Space, Subspace) to the database? They come up again in Volume 17 so I guess they count as terminology.

Done. Names and terminology page updated.

Note: Zetsuen space has been revised to Severed Space (絶界探{ぜっかいだんさ}) and a sentence had been revised to accommodate the name change to the "Severed Space Investigation Plan" (絶界探査計画{ぜっかいだんさけいかく}).

Otherwise:
Zero Territory (ゼロ領域{ゼロりょういき})
Subspace (亜空間{あくうかん})
Both fall into the purview of direct translation and terms that show up in Japanese dictionaries, so the terms are completely solid.

We're in uncharted territory (Volume 18)!

I did a quick translation of the Volume 18 chapter names, check and improve them whenever you like.

kk, also considering we've started seeing the legends terms in the main story, I've folded the Legend of Regios specific terms into the main list.

Go ahead and post them and I'll take care of it.

The chapter names are up on the main page.

Only new thing in Vol 18 Prologue is the alternative name of the city Melnisc (メルニスク), for example like how Grendan is the Lance Shelled City. For now I just put 'White Flame City Melnisc'.

I was unable to find a good-sounding translation for the name 英贝德·托斯兰 that appears about 25% through Volume 18 Chapter 1. I just left it in characters for now >.>
