Re: Poll for Teh_ping (SAO version)
I vote SAO because the story is great, the characters are awesome, and the battles are epic. This is the only series on BT that I obsessively check for updates.

Re: Poll for Teh_ping (SAO version)
Story:
1. The story is awesome, try reading volume 1 is sufficient and you will get what i mean.
2. There are not many genres that have the main character stuck in the virtual reality world.
3. Many short stories involving side character perception towards the main character (Kirito) owning the monsters/players, displaying his awesomeness.
4.Character design was awesome for the light novel version by Abec.
Black Cat translation group:
1. slow paced recently as the translator and editors are busy in their personal life (previously update are weekly based, one chapter per week).
Personal:
1. bought the light novel, japanese version up to the lastest volume (8), despite not being able to read a single word of japanese
for collection (there goes my few weeks of pocket money
, but it is still worth it)
2. checked Baka-Tsuki site and Black Cat translation group forum in mangafox every day for update on the date of new release. (densetsu no yuusha no densetsu was my second top list in BT, check about once a week)
1)I would like to see SAO translated so I don't spam baka-tsuki every 10 mins to see if there is a new update.
2)I've played a lot of games over the years, and I actually enjoy reading this more than I enjoy playing lol...
3)Stories/manga involving fantasy/games like this one and some others (moonlight sculptor, Yureka, I.d, etc...) are just so fun to read and I just can't help but want to find out what's going to happen or what amazing things the main characters will do next.
4)I have been using google/bing translator for a while cause I get desperate sometimes but that doesn't really get u too far except a headache or two. Moonlight sculptor is actually my favorite but too bad its not on baka-tsuki but in close 2nd is SAO and I'd like to see it all translated.
I completely agree with bulldoser on all accounts (personal note: even if the release rate was 1 chapter per day I wouldn't be satisfied because even a minute of waiting for the next chapter is equivalent to Doll's Chain, Endless Torture. Please translate SAO!!!
To bulldoser: could you give me some suggestions of light novels/manga/manhwa like moonlight sculptor, Yureka and I.d? ty

Re: Poll for Teh_ping (SAO version)
I'm voting for Sword Art Online just because the story is captivating the content is amzing and the whole world that the writer (Reki Kawahara) has put togther both when the charicters are in game and out of game is incredibly vivid and really draws you in hell it makes you want to just stay there and keep reading and everything else your doing can just wait. At leat thats how i felt about it since if i keep going like this im going to start talking in circles and boring just about everybody my main reasons are in point form bellow.
1. The main charicters have a real aspect of believability to them they actually seem like they act the kind of way most people would when confronted by most of the situations there put in.
2. Yui one of the charicters just cracks me up i find her adorable and hilarious
3. The supporting cast is diverse and interesting you find you find yourself wondering what Lizbet, Cline and all the other supporting charicters are doing when there not actually apearing in the novel (well when your not to absorbed by whatever Badass crazy stunt Kirito is pulling at the time).
4. The side story's are engaging and actually add depth to the world insted of just being filler matirial like most are
5. It rases some interesting questions about the human condition and vertual reality such as, if something is exspirianced in vertual reality and is as real as

Re: Poll for Teh_ping (SAO version)
Vote for SAO.
Reasons:
It's pretty much the most interesting novel after Utsuro no Hako I've read on BT. The fighting parts as well as the setting are really interesting. Especially the setting. Thanks to the fact that this is supposed to happen in games, the setting isn't limited to happen only in one type of a world, instead letting it happen in different eras, with different weapons and skills.

Voting for SAO. I enjoy the story and action in this light novel. I would like to see the entire translation of this project similar to To Aru Majutsu no Index because I believe the stories are equally great.

SAO, like all of the other novels about the online games, always prove to be an intriguing read. The biggest reason it is easy for the reader to connect with the character inside there I guess and I always found it fun to play games and read, so reading about playing games=amazing.
Have you tried 1/2 Prince? Don't be turned off by the fact that the main character is a girl who has a guy avatar. Its pretty much only used for comedic effect.yttam500 wrote: To bulldoser: could you give me some suggestions of light novels/manga/manhwa like moonlight sculptor, Yureka and I.d? ty
