Audio Files for DxD Start up

So I actually have most of the audio files near ready. Not because I have been preparing them for upload, but because I prefer to listen to the light novels rather than read them. So basically I could upload vol. 1 -17 in english in the next couple weeks if people wanted. There are multiple reasons I say weeks, basically I am going to need some help with this in order to do it right. Here is a list of things I am going to need help with if I can get this done.

1. I am new to uploading audio files to the internet for everyone to download with ease, I would need advice on the best website to upload these onto in order for everyone to access them without problem. Also the file format and whether or not to zip it.

2. Pronunciation, I am not going to lie there are some names I have no idea how to pronounce. Like "Cao Cao", I have no clue what the right pronunciation is. There are other names that are going to he hard to get. I will need someone, some people who can either give me the correct audio pronunciation(file form or skype) or write it out. I am not going to go through every novel and list all the names I need help with until I have a solid group to work on this with. It would be a lot of work for nothing if it falls through.

Like I said I have the text versions of vols. 1-17 with proper pronunciation/translation for most of the main characters, and the speech program I use is very good at foreign names, especially Europian and Bible names. (Not so good with Eastern names sadly) I would also like help getting my hands on a full version of this speech program if possible, since it would be a lot easier to pull it directly from the speech program. (I won't say what I mean by full program to protect this website but I don't think I have to ~_^ ) The program Name is Natural Reader, if anyone can find a good copy that would be awesome. I have looked myself, and have not been succesful. If you happen to have another one that is better just message me. DO NOT LINK PIRATED SOFTWARE IN THIS THREAD

The fact is I am way to busy to do this on my own, if the community wants it I have most of the work done already, I just need help with the last 40%.

DxD LNs in audio? Sounds interesting.

1. If you're looking for a website to just upload the files, I'd recommend zipping them and uploading them to a website like 4shared. If you want an audio-specific site, yourlisten should work. As for file format... I'd personally recommend mp3.

2. I can't help much with this without knowing what names you'd need help with, but for Cao Cao I always pronounced it as K-ah-oh K-ah-oh. (Hope I conveyed that properly....)

If you look online there are 5 different ways to pronounce it, but that can wait for later versions I think we should start with vol 1 and get a swing of things. After some thought there are some things I would like to do with certian sounds.

Luckily sound editors are very easy to get your hands on so once we have the audio files made I would like to add sound effects to it, nothing crazy but just enough to help out.

Here are some examples:

1. I would like to use the sound effect for Boost made in the anime every time the boosted gear uses boost along with divine dividing commands ect....
2. Certian sound effects that translate poorly when put into audio such as the sound of swords hitting against one another ect... I would like make audio files for that like something as simple as someone recording metal objects striking against one another or something of the.
3. When ever a new environment is introduced it would be nice to have a small sound effect to go along with it, for example when they are at school a school bell can go off, or in a crowded we can have someone record the sound of a busy street of public area, and for the kitchen we can just record the banging of pots and pans. We can use the audio files from Ise alarm clock for wake ups.

These things would actually be simple to add and really take the audio file to a whole new level. I have the manuscript done but I would still like a team to work with. Here is what I would like. I am not putting myself in any position even though I and trying to start this I might not have the time to head the project so we will see where it goes.

POSITIONS

Lead Project Manager
-in-charge of monitoring, helping out with, and making sure the project is progressing smoothly.
-If trouble arises it will be this persons job to fix it or find a replacement
-Making sure people are being treated fairly and reasonably along with any internal disputes

Lead Script Manager ( I would like this job since I have done most of the work for it already)
-In-charge of maintaining the written script that the text of the audio is contained on.
-Management of the Script Production Crew
-The biggest difference between the lead and other people working on the script is that the lead is responsible for working with the audio production ground to make sure the actual text of the volumes are being translated over to audio fluently.

Script Production Crew Members
-This size of this group will be decided at the discretion of the lead script manager
-Making sure all Japanese words that can be translated into english are (such as Sekiryuutei into Emperor of the Red Dragon). Unlike the written version we cannot just say here is a link to what this translates to. There is a possibility that the first time people are introduced to DxD will be from these Audio files, we cannot have them lost in translation. Because the words are not even spelled out they will not even now what the correct spelling is for them, thus english translation will be necessary.
-Making sure that names and places among other words are pronounced properly in the audio. For example in the program I use for Audio I have to change Asia's name to Ashia in order for it to pronounce her name properly. Making sure that all instances of names are done like this is probably the most tedious part. (Though Microsoft word find and replace makes this job a whole lot easier : D ) Though the good news is I have already done most of this work for all the volumes, so these members will mostly just be proof reading rather than tedious work : ) your welcome : D

Lead Audio Manager
-Making sure the audio portion of the project is progressing smoothly and overall maintenance of the final audio file
-Management of the Audio Production team
-Biggest difference between this person and the other members of the Audio production team is they will be working closely with the script production team as well.

Audio Production Crew Memebers
-The size of the audio production crew will be decided at the discretion of the lead audio manager
-Working with audio programs to produce the final audio product
-Creation, recording and ripping of sound effects for the audio file
-Merging and placement of sound effects with the audio files
-Production of final audio file

This is what I will need for a team, if we can get a team together we can start on the production of the audio files immediately. Though I will not start until I have a full team ready to go.

Would be Nice to Listen to the Novels instead of Reading Each 1by 1. Hope the Project will Get started soon then later. Sound effects are a good idea but not really necessary.
