we all know how u feel, but sadly everyone who wants to translate this novel either is too lazy or doesn't know the language well enough(like me) hopefully someone will step up but for now, we have to remain patience

You forgot "busy with school or work", Which is the main reason why many retired or stopped translating.

For future reference: "Had had" is the past perfect aka pluperfect. The past perfect is used in reference to an action completed before another past action. There are a number of words in English where you can have two of the same words right next to each other in a sentence. It's kinda like "that that". Yes, English is pretty strange, but thats how it is...
