Yea. I read the discussion about it on the previous posts and this thing came to my mind....
This bugged me so i tried a little research but the anime always lists first.... so why not ask the experts

volume 1 prologue - 'She placed a crimson-colored Jyuubako on the table and opened the painted lid'.
isn't it 'jubako' - a set of nested lacquered food boxes with either a cord tied vertically around the boxes or a stiff handle that locks them together.
i know the meaning is easily understandable from context but shouldn't there be a translator's note?

Thanks so much for the translations so far!! I'm grateful because a lot of work goes into translating novels and because Hidan no Aria is a good read. I can't imagine picking up a novel and typing out every single word, and that's without mentioning translating (and interpreting), formatting and footnotes. Additionally, it's done during free time and without pay!!! You people are awesome.
