So.... what's going on with this one? It's been 2 months since chapter one's translation. Not enough time cuz of school and/or work and what-not?

I was curious about some of the terms you were using. Were you following the authors example of using italian words such as Inquesta, Le Pia, etc. I am interested in trying to help and perhaps translate or edit for the series. Though I can't guarantee the quality of my translations as I am somewhat of a novice at translating novels. Though I have learned elementary Japanese in college so my main problem will be...complex Kanji =p

In Hidan no Aria, the hiragana for 双剣双銃 (Pair of swords and pair of guns?) are カドラ (Kadora) -> Quadra
鑑識科 (Judgment section?) -> レピア (Repia) -> Le Pia
探偵科 (Investigator section?) -> インケスタ (Inkesuta) -> Inquesta
通信科 (Communication section?) -> コネクト (Konekuto) -> Connect

Thanks Vaelis, I didn't get a chance to get to Volume 2 or 3 yet. I was glancing at the guidelines and was wondering if the translations used were the translators own or it appears later on. Didn't really find time to sit down and read yet.

Hmm well in fact I don't have volume 3 so I didn't know if the translations were right.
And it seems some of them were wrong (Lodge -> Logi and Le Pia -> Repier)

Probably have to check some references to the Italian language. Just a quick translation of Lodge in Italian -> Loggia. So I am assuming the author is using a mix of English and Italian words as a title of each department.
Sorry I don't have that much time to delve into the namings. Maybe I will be able to have some time this weekend to pick up the book and find out. It will be a fun challenge trying to find the correct spelling in Italian.

Also, we finally know the meaning of the "緋弾" (hidan) in Hidan no Aria - and the identity of the leader of I.U.
And while I'm at it: congratulations for the Manga version.
