Trying to patiently wait seeing as mid terms could be happening now but if I am being honest it kinda sucks to see no development happen in such a big release.

Are you talking about the moment when Miyuki asked Tatsuya not to go about P-dolls and take a rest?
I felt like, she was not really overruling. It was close to begging from my perspective.
I think, it is foreshadowing for the future event.
Yakumo has been teaching Tatsuya to reduce his reliance on his elemental sights.
So, I think, there will be a day when Tatsuya will make a decision to push himself even if Miyuki seals off Tatsuya's power.
