if someone can enlighten me on the title of the 2nd last chapter of volume 5. What is the character that comes after "Otomege"? thanks.

Do you mean the "ヱ" in "乙女ゲヱの世界にようこそ"?

The title is a tribute to another light novel called "ギャルゲヱの世界よ、ようこそ!" .

"ゲヱ" is nothing more than a cool but bizarre way of saying "ゲー". Similar to how Evangelion is called ヱヴァンゲリヲン instead of エヴァンゲリオン, or how otaku call themselves ヲタ instead of オタ.

Our big boss, thelastguardian, is doing those 3 chapters, but I think he's very busy. If you want to know what happen so much, you can read chapters 11 and 12 manga equivalents at one of the larger manga hosting sites. chapter 10 is not adapted but I can summarize very shortly here from memory:
Spoiler! :
basically, chapter 10 is an aftermath event of the previous chapter, Momotaro. Yozora thinks that they are not cut out for classic theatrics such as Momotaro, so she decided to write her own story and get the rest to act them. IIRC the whole chapter is about her thinking aloud her story. and it kept involving the heroine getting raped. no explicit stuff, just saying she got raped. of course, needless to say, the heroine in her scenario is Sena. my summary may make it seem very derogatory (Admittedly, it is in a way), but it's kind of funny and facepalming that it didn't really feel that bad when I read it

I started reading the history recently, so far I only read the first volume. But I'm finding it very interesting and funny, Yozoro is by far my favorite character so far. She is just so funny teasing Sena, and by talking dirty (want see how the producers are gonna do in the anime).

Hope that I can read more, and thanks for the series translation.

I believe you are trying to say "Hope that I CAN read more"

And Yozoro is unbelievably pure... even if u find it hard to believe...

This feels like reading a very weird eroge on harem mode in novel form, but I like it.

Ah, lucky for me who can read some JP, I got the raw just so I can fill in the missing chapters. Rika's debute chapter didn't really scratch her surface, compare to the chapter after it, geesh. It mostly did some joke with physics and her name.

Oh in vol 2 - Kodaka's Romance of the Three Kingdoms Talk, raw page 91, that "Ge" sound was from Maria behind him, wonder if I should change it, hmm. I want to make sure this time since it seems my English is not as broad as I thought from larethian's "tucked in" experience. Do all you know what "I responded with an appropriate indifferent reply as I tucked in." means except me?

actually, if you notice, I actually did not undo your change, because your change is 'not wrong', my English is far from perfect, and I give the benefit of doubt that it's a slang not known in other parts of the world. to digress a little, "tuck in" is a British slang for "eat up" especially used in a 'start-to-eat' situation, though I didn't know it was a slang initially. Those from Singapore, Hong Kong, UK, and maybe Europe as well, should be familiar with the term. but that's not actually the main point, and I was actually ok with your change. 8)

anyway, you are free to do any edits on grammar, spellings, and to a certain limited degree, fixing sentence flow. but before doing major restructuring of sentences or reworking translations(disagreements on either sentence or word choices), get the permission of the translator (or supervisor if he exists), and clarify with the translator on his or her choice to get a common understanding. sometimes you don't know what you don't know. at times, you might be more proficient than the translator of a certain project, but it's still advisable to communicate and check; after sometime, when it's evident your source-language-comprehension-skills and target-language-writing skills are stronger, I'm sure he or she will give you more freedom to do more major edits the way you see fit.

regarding the "ge" sound you mentioned, it's best to check with the translator himself, Vexed. you can write on his talk page, but give him time to reply, since I think he only logs in when he wants to post. or you can find him at his blog: http://www.vexedscans.blogspot.com

I like reading English version much more than Japanese version since it takes a lot less brain power. Sometimes when I read something strange, and if I happen to have the raw I check with raw to see what it really is. That's where most of my edits come from if any.

Yea to make it a middle ground, I reverted my change but added a reference to make it clear to everyone else.

Vol1 chapter 11 is pretty nice, lot more normal than the usual stories. Chapter 12 is, well, short but informative.

Thanks

Does this project need an editor? I see one listed on the project page, and translation for most of the first volume seems to be complete, but just reading through the prologue, it seems completely unedited. If an editor is needed, I would would gladly volunteer my services.

Edit: The guy listed under editors on the page made one minor edit and listed himself under editors in June, which leads me to believe there are no active editors. I'm just gonna do the prologue right now, since that won't interfere with anyone.

Edit2: Oh wow, that took some time. The translator of the prologue- thelastguardian, I believe- should give it a once-over and then I'll fix the tense problems and maybe start on the next chapter sometime. I'm not gonna do a whole chapter in one session again though, that took too long.
