True and it has only been 4 days. I hope we gain more support for the translation. This Light Novel is good and its anime adaptation are one of the fewest done very well.

Actually, is there going to be any discussion about this series, or is everyone going to be just talking about voting?

Discussion seems to be all on that other anime forum.

Personally, this gives me ZnT vibes. And I'm half-dead serious.

No offense Kira, but please, don't ever insult this series like that again. The MC in Nobuna trumps ZnT by a mile, both in badassery and actual use in the grand scheme of things, and Nobuna is not even remotely painful to watch (can't say read cause I can't read moon runes) with eye-gouging amounts of fanservice, and violence that far surpasses the acceptable levels to be dignified with the glorious title of 'Domestic Abuse'. On that note, Nobuna is infinitely more useful than Louis, while sounding (both in voice-acting and intellectual-speech) much more pleasant, and most of all, Nobuna isn't a flat, short, brat who compensates for her own inadequacies and repressed sexual tension with denial and intense, sadistic abuse of her allies, while providing no actual use in combat save for Deus Ex Machina.

Edit: God, that felt like a long rant... I must REALLY hate ZnT... more than I initially thought... though now that I think about it, I don't like tsunderes very much in general... I remember raging a lot at Love Hina too...

One paragraph is a short rant =P

Anyway, I think I'll give anime a shot, then vote.
Kadi - hero we don't deserve.
Honorable mention for moderating and translating Campione, editing Gekkou and Hakomari.

Actually this is getting annoying, so I'm going to delete any further post that only talks about votes.

All the translators that are here are already working on stuff they like, which kind of means they're not likely going to drop them for a new project. So, you need to find new blood.

The not-so-important off-topic stuff:
Spoiler! :

Why such a wet noodle? Being hyped up spreads the positive energy around, gets others more hyped up, higher morale, and that's always a good thing.
Being over-hyped leads to disappointment to be honest, the over-enthusiasm is pretty jarring, and might turn off some translators. I mean an over-the-top fanbase is kind of scary.
RikiNutcase wrote: i just can't think that poll numbers can actually affect the translation speed or project acceptance rate in a free site lol. 8)
He's pretty right about this.

Example 1: Dakara Boku wa, H ga Dekinai Creation Date: Sun Jan 15, 2012 3:05 am Votes: Yes - 296-99%
No translator so far.
chad001 wrote: Well then, don't vote, keep it to yourself, or leave please. You might not believe, but the rest of us do, and we don't need you to put a damper on it.
RikiNutcase wrote:
well i apologize if i sounded like a jerk. i've gotta admit that this series is good from what i've seen and read. but it's best if you target non-existing translators than existing ones ,since translators prefer doing their translation based on their own interest .
So, I don't know who the rest of them are but you have to correct them on that this votes aren't too significant. This is like super secondary, like super super minor, to most translator.

When I took up Blade Dance, I didn't even look at the votes. I was looking for something easy to practice my Japanese on, then I chanced upon it. "Hmm, seems pretty simple and rather interesting." and there you have it, I'm translating it.
The voting that would be significant for you lot is when Code-Zero starts his own poll to help decide what to work on after DxD, which is probably a few months down the road.

So, put aside all that angst, tone down that hyperness before you burn yourself out and actually stay on topic.

Edit: I've kept to my word and deleted posts

I think it is best to start a discussion like KuroiHikari mentioned. Lets start with what parts you like about the Light Novel or what parts you like about the anime? Which characters you like the most? I like Nobuna, her dreams aim very high and seriousness is what makes her great and different from many female protagonists. Nobuna like characters are lacking in the Anime, Light Novel, and Manga world, there should be more of characters like her. She takes it upon herself to do it, and she is very productive in doing so. Another character I like is Sagara. He is a normal high school kid, but he have shown time and time again he has guts. To stand against Nobuna when she tried to kill her brother, not many would go against a Daimyo other than another Daimyo.
