Date A Live: Anime Discussion

Since we have a 1st season and a 2nd coming, I created this thread for the sake of discussing the anime.

As a pattern let me start, I just disliked one thing in the anime, the shortest story was for vol 2, volume should have covered all the 12 episodes!(Okay, me just being me), but in counterpart Yoshino gained a bit more of attention on the next episodes.

Tell us your feelings about the anime, and what do you hope for a second season!

They skipped so many funny bits.....and for some reason the whole anime felt bland.

Well, I like the anime, of course, THEY DID skip somethings, that was sad, but in overall I liked it, there was some bad points though, like good ones too, but it happens in any anime, I will say that the chances of the anime being as good as the LN in my count is in the maximum 15%.

It did seem hurried, I agree. But that's always the same. General rule for all things: Book > Animation/Movie. Well, with Haruhi I wouldn't be so sure.

What really grinds my gears is the quality of the drums in the OP song  They sound like they're mixed at 128kbps while the rest is hq.

So do I. That's why I'm annoyed by the drums quality.

Yeah, it will be a year. Season one begun in April 2013.

In my case, I'm not surprised. I knew it from the beginning that there would be one year of difference between S1 and S2.
And fast ? I don't think so... I know some case worse than this, like Fate/Zero : S1 started in October 2011, S2 started in April 2012, so only 6 mouths between both season.

but anyway, it's better to be sooner... D:

Well, if they take a year to produce another season, then there were some decisions made pretty fast. I mean, Fate was a sure shot in some points. With DAL there wasn't as much franchise out there, so it does feel kind of fast. Hell if I mind, I just hope the quality's the same.

I hope that in the second season they will drop the repeating line they made one of the Ai/mai/mi trio saying that was translated as "gross" in the subtitles
