At least I have delete powers in the Brigades section ;)
Block first, or delete instantly? Cause there are some real trouble makers out there... But if they are all deleted, the evidence is gone?

thelastguardian has blocked the registration of the bots and the spams of the unregistered users.
But bots already registered can still spam...
I asked him if he could delete the new accounts of the last two weeks with 0 post.
After this it should be ok again.

I don't think its working...

P.S. can someone ban this samunellarichardson? He has made 20+ posts, but all about some casino ads... And I think this is at least the second time hes spam posting the ads, seen him with 20+ posts last time, though i get the feeling they are all removed back then.

Gotta figure some way out... Any suggestions?

It's not working because thelastguardian didn't delete the old accounts created by the spam bots.

Spam of guest stopped and we don't have any registration of a spam bot since January 17.
The problem is the old accounts created between January 4 and January 17.

And... the hero does it again... I suggest we get him banned before removing all the threads, or else this is going nowhere, seriously!

"With great power comes great responsibility..."

Oh god, now I cant randomly click around due to the fact that I might accidentally delete a post.

Edit: Ive removed all the evil spammers in this topic that were posted, and some of the obvious ones.

Dealt with two more a few moments ago. Is there a way to discover the IP addresses these guys are coming from? Perhaps we should block that particular machine or subnet?

Another approach would be deleting users by "website". Most of these s*ckers have put their website in the respective field. (you'll notice quite a few "ayashii" users in this list)

So how do you tell if they are really spammers? Unless we should visit those sites to tell if they seem like spammers?

memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=5484

for example, i highly believe this abigninna is a spammer, but i have no proof, despite how suspicious his website is...

Could somebody block prozenp and voldaei ? I already deleted the two spams pages that they made on the wiki.
