It wouldn't matter, But the thing is not about complexity or simplicity. I'd assume it's to make it appealing and easier to navigate in. Example, instead of having 100 items in your desktop, you could have 5 folder, with 5 folders inside and 4 files in each folder. Click two folders rather then spend an hour searching for what you are looking for.

So, I assume you wouldn't mind seeing it's organization overhaul, but you would prefer if it was step by step, not suddenly.

Btw deleting topics would be bad for your postcount.

Also a old topic doesnt mean that the topic is uninteresting for a newcomer and why should it be deleted if it still can be used, why create a new one if the answers to new questions are maybe already there?

Btw I hate it when new threads are created when there is already one with the same theme.

That's why I assume a "Death" at the bottom of the board would be good, such that users can still browse through it. (Because we' burn through topics quickly.) However, with the Future Project Suggestion repeats, I certainly see your point....

What do you mean by that last bit? Mine and Kadi's threads have different purposes, mine is more for forum, and hers is more for wiki.

Ah... I didnt mean with the last part your thread especially, but threads in genral.

Its just that I prefer when not for one theme x new topics are created, but the still existing would be used - at least if the old one wasnt gone off topic over many pages... but it seem that I differ with that opinion with others...

I think he means slowly over time. like one change a week or such...

I know that he means that it would happen over time, but I am looking for benchmarks to determine how long of a transition it would be.

Four months later...I think Hobogunner's C+D idea would be good. But would every project get their own sub-sub-forum or would they be organised the same way as the Auxillary brigade right now?
