its also possible that everything will move faster because everyone will know that others are counting on them to get it done and because everyone has less to do than if they did a whole LN by themselves.

well if we actually had someone to organize us, it would easily mean less work and time than if we did it by ourselves, i mean your literally doin less work

I feel like we should move this discussion somewhere else, as this forum is a little too static. A dynamic tool would probably be better, something like Skype.

google hangout is your friend.

If you plan to do this, i recommend you focus on 5 minutes worth of script, narration included.
Recently i had to write and supervise a company video voice over which had around 46 lines give or take.
Which took just over 3 hours to record, so i think that's plenty as a trial run.

Take those 46 lines or so and assign a voice actor for them. i recommend that the narrator should do the recording first with all character voices included, letting him set the overall pace and the rest of the voice actors can use it as a guide.

All other characters can then start recording their assigned lines separately in its own voice file.
If you intend to record it in one session, please give 5 seconds between each lines spoken to give the assigned editor some space

google hangout was an idea but ive never used it also i dont think skype would be good. Facebook maybe?

google hangout is free and as long as you can run chrome browser, it'll run on your pc.

Can't guarantee quality though, that depends on your connection.
But good thing about hangout, can host up to 8 people at a time and share screens.

For Google Hangouts, you need a desktop client if you're on the computer. hangouts.google.com should tell you more. I can set a group up, but if someone else wants to do it, feel free. The only thing holding me back is that Google forces you to use your "real name".

Problem with a Facebook group is that it's not as easy as a dedicated messenger. I still think Skype is better, but that's just my opinion.
