So let's use High School DxD as an example. There are currently 16 translated volumes, and let's say a contributor decides to record volume 1. What if he stops after volume 1 due to some reason? Do people who listen to the audiobook listen to another voice, or many different voices throughout the entire series?

If that's okay, I was thinking we could use Google Forms as the registration medium. It's free and it delivers results to a spreadsheet in your Google Drive. From there we could split people up into different volumes.

Shouldn't we put an "Audiobook" section on each project page? How do we decide who the supervisor is for each project?

No one's really supervising right now, so you're free to go ahead and record. I do suggest you get better recording equipment though, and practice reading techniques. You can find the latter in Youtube instructional videos.

I would think that most people would prefer to be able to listen to the whole series with different readers rather than have the series end partway through because the reader stops. Also what would be the problem of having more than on version of each series, it would give people options if they don't like the way one person reads it, I'm not saying that there should be 20 different versions of High School DxD but there shouldn't be too much of a fuss if someone wants to record a second version of it.

As for the supervisors, there could be a pool of people willing to supervise the audio projects and assign them to each project as people register for them.

By the way we should have another method of communication, like a Skype Group or a Google Hangout. This is a little too static.

I doubt there would be many requirements besides having enough time to put into supervising. what would supervisors have to do anyways besides maybe making sure the recordings are clear and understandable?

I have edited so you can answer up to 3 LNs, I dont suggest one person taking up more than that since you may not be able to handle the work load and there might be someone else wanting to do one of the Light Novels too

Alrighty, I have sent an email to the two guys who started this project informing them that I have created a google form and that there are quite a number of people interested in lending their time in this project. I am now waiting for their reply so that we can start our recordings!
