It seems to me that you are more or less the director of this project, so anything you pick will be fine.

Get connected and then sort out which novel you wish to do, which lines and who will be the leading narrator and the pacing he/she shall set.

guidelines for first meeting agenda:

1. pick Novel

2. pick paragraph section (recommend no more than 46 lines/ within 5mins worth)

3. Assign Narrator

4. Assign pacing (e.g. 2 words per second)

After you get that down, i'm sure everything else will fall into place.

seeing as this is just a trial run we should just do something rather than argue about wat software were using to talk to each other
just get everyone toghter and get the ball rolling

I'm ready. I'm assuming that we're doing a meeting first with a trial and assigning roles, so we'll need a Google Doc or some kind of synchronized word processor to take notes for the meeting.

Since it will probably be a voice meeting, I propose using Skype.

sounds like a plan, if everyone sends me their gmail addresses I can set up the google docs and we can use that to set up the rest

Hey guys, newfriend here.

I've been lurking the forum, still a bit confused. I saw that awesome google form and went ahead and submitted that. Do I have to wait for mod approval or is it cool to start gettin' some stuff up and ready to go?

Also, this is an awesome thing you have going on here. Great work everyone!

yup. Just go to the Baka-Tsuki Audio Recording registration page on the wiki, sign up on the Baka-Tsuki approved project you wish to record. If there isn't a list for your chosen novel, just add it in and sign your wiki username, then you can start a recording and send it to the baka-tsuki audio email.
please just send an audio only, .mp3 preferably.
I will have a listen and give you some constructive feedback, that you might have to record it again before i'll approve.
Realistically i will give all voice readers at least three attempts before i will have to decline them.
Which happily, i have yet to do for all those who has submitted.
(although I'm still waiting for the 2nd attempt recording from two others volunteers, where are you? :( ) )

how am i meant to read this
http://www.baka-tsuki.org/project/index ... 1_Chapter1

attacks are written out like this with a sub-title

.....Amaryllis
Six-Petal Burst Firebloom!
(ignore the dots)(writen out with Amaryllis in subtext above the attack)

can be turn into this
Amaryllis, Six-Petal Burst Firebloom!
or
Six-Petal Burst Firebloom! Amaryllis (this one makes more sense for some of the other attack names)
or
Six-Petal Burst Amaryllis Firebloom! (which sounds cooler but is not honest to the script)

but terms also have two meanings or names:

Strega
<Witch>

which would be kinda weird if i said "A Witch, Strega" or something in that combination (Strega Witch?)

I can kinda work around it like in the first example but is it fine to omit some words for to sound right

you can find the list here for most of the subtexted titles
http://www.baka-tsuki.org/project/index ... Guidelines

edit : ive skim read throu all the volumes and it uses the subtext for terms like Strega and weapons but keeps it dual-titled for attack names
majority of the time only one is used (the subtext one is used mostly) but still confused on what to do in the situation of both

also the above example is fixed in the 3rd chapter but there are many more
