Vorador wrote:Thanks for the prompt update. Sorry to bother you, but in the new chapters i'm getting a weird error where image thumbnails are not displayed. If you "click" on them, the full res image loads, but the thumbnails don't appear.

Anyone else is suffering from this?
try to refresh/redownload the chapter. if still got issue, tell me the chapter name

>> i do not have any of those things on my phone i might try backing up my DB ad seeing if i that works but right now i have bunches of redlink for chapters.(all thes redlinks are dups of the chapters)

The dups is expected, as because of the server migration might cause the problem when updating from the previous version. You can manually delete the dups.
when i try to refresh/redownload the any volume in the Campoine! series i get the empty content issue unless i need to clear the cache the try the refersh/redownload.
Always on the hunt for good Anime and their associated Light Novels, Manga. :)

Found it. For some reason the option Show Images in Reading Layout was deactivated. I'm pretty sure i didn't touch it before...

Also, when i refreshed after the update some light novels appeared duplicated in the novel list, probably because of the wiki changes. Deleting both entries and refreshing again fixed the issue.

Anyways, sorry to bother you.

When you open a chapter, there's an "Edit" tag next to the title.

Which chapter? Most likely because of css issue (if you use one)

Updated to the latest from Google Play. I had issues so just deleted the database so I could start fresh, as I don't have anything that will disappear.

I'm not getting anything in the main novel listing. It's kind of quick to read, but it has some sort of java error (java.security.certPathValidatorException: trust anchor for certification not found) and then nothing, says list is empty or some such.

Edit: Turning off HTTPS fixed this. But figured you should still know, as HTTPS is an option in the settings.

For the record, I have the [edit] thing too. When you view a chapter, you see Chapter Name [edit]. Not a big deal though, as I just don't touch the edit. But. ;) It /is/ there.

1. Check if the option to show image (Settings -> Reading Layout -> Group 2 (need better name...) -> Show Images) is enabled.
2. Check if the image storage is pointing to the correct location (Settings -> Storage -> Images -> Image Save Location) using your file explorer, e.g. ES File Explorer.
3. Try to relink the images (Settings -> Storage -> Image Backup -> Relink Images).

I did what all of the above.

Let me kind of describe what's happening. If I open a novel illustrations page, all the images are "broken" in that there's an empty slot with one of those torn up logos to indicate a broken image. I refresh, nothing happens, I click the image, the image loads, I go back, it shows nothing. I delete the novel, then download it again, and then it appears. The same applies to the images when viewing the actual chapters. Occasionally I get the message "bitmap empty", but to have to go through each and every one of them, one by one is a pain.

On a different note, doesnt it seem like Baka-Reader should get it's own forum category so we're not all messaging on the same thread about different issues?

Either that, or use the GitHub Issue Tracker here: https://github.com/calvinaquino/LNReader-Android/issues

We can use the forum for 1st level help, though :D

Need a place to place the apk(alpha/beta) files ? I have 10TB traffic and gigabit connection... and it doesn't seem like I will be able to use up that traffic in the near future. Except I start hosting the files for B-T.
ePUB Generator <<Productive>> : BTE-GEN | Yay, I'm free. Let's see how long it takes for this place to go down.

Not really, actually google play have beta release capability, but you need to register via Google+.

Also, the source code is in GitHub, so technically anyone can compile their version (of course the signing key will be different).

Most of the time, I will upload it to mediafire for beta/release version.

It is now a week, or more, since I last got any updates at all

When my phone search for updates it says all are updated, even when I do the forced update.

I have the newest version of the app

There is a changes on the novel page titles from baka-tsuki, try to refresh the Main Tab and check for duplicates. Most likely the chapters will be updated on the new one (all chapters will be moved to the new one, then you can delete the old empty novel).
