Just curious, "with images" lists no Sony device. Does this mean there is no special treatment necessary and 'original' works fine?

One last question... calibre displays the images splitted up on pagebreaks and as far as I know it was the same on my reader. Is there an easy way for me to stop images from splitting up (so far I found nothing useful in calibre)? Is this behavior related to me or the epub generator?

Mmmmh, do you have an example?

I don't remember any problem with splitted image on my reader, but I can't say with Calibre...

You should maybe try with Sumatra PDF reader, which reads EPUB as well and is better IMO to read epub on your computer.

You are right, the problem is in fact calibre and the epubs are looking fine on the reader. The one instance I recalled was actually one big image splitted up to two on purpose.

Hi, just wanted to say that this is one great algorithm/generator! I used it on several different works here and they all work fantastically; however, there does seem to be a problem with Baccano's Volume 04 conversion, as both calibre's e-viewer, SumatraPDF, and my Ipad's iBooks are unable to open the file (with or without images converted in). Something about a missing content.something.

I agree with you, it's a great thing.
I think you missed it since it was a few post before, but there is the "handmade" technique which may work with your problem.
So, may you try with this method : viewtopic.php?f=16&t=5575&start=75#p173196

If it does work, than there must be a mistake in the title of Baccano's Volume 04 on the generator

If you want it without images, you may also try with the upper-mentioned technique

Well... it won't work... I know it since long ago... Maybe I will make them manually, but the bte-gen won't be able to create them. I mean Baccano 4 and maybe some other. There is something that breaks the generation of epub and I'm really lazy to search for that certain thing.

Oh, really ? It doesn't work only on certain volumes? It's really strange.
I just took a peek, and didn't see any obvious difference between the 4th one and the others...
Except maybe the fact they put titles before each chapter.
