ok, my exam got pushed back till the 18th next month so yea, i'm back for now (i did NOT troll)

p.s. -> this tl puts emphasis on quality. not quantity. so dont maind if the tl's come in slow. they're probably being edited....wait, that might be a good idea. to edit the tl's b4 it gets posted in the wiki? well, i'll leave that choice up to KLSympgh and Duel-Blades.
as for mine, i'll get them edited b4 posting (or i might change my mind later, this is just a whim..or a prophecy from haruhi)

Okay, apparently I wasn't dreaming about finishing volume one. Whew.

Well, time to prep for extensive editing. I also have to proofread the older translations and edits for consistency. Again, I think we should wait to apply for main project status until volume one is fully edited.

Lifeman120, the color image looks really good. I like the choice of typeface. However, can you nudge the double-quotation marks closer to the letters? The ones that end the quotation may be fine because the punctuation marks are also slightly separate from the words, but the ones at the beginning make too much of an obvious gap.

Has Dual Blades and TheCatWalk gotten my PMs? For some reason the last few days, submitting PMs puts them into my outbox and not in my sent messages box. I don't know if that means they haven't been sent, or what.

The gap between the white outline of the quotation mark and the white outline of the adjacent character should be equal for both the beginning of the quote and the end. As you can probably see, there's a noticable gap between the whites of the quotation mark and "Shizuku", while the whites of quotation mark and the exclamation mark at the end of that quote are actually touching.

Also, are the reds of "Shizuku!" and "a kiss" different shades of red? They should be the same. I'd go with the brighter one.

For the Stella picture, the quotation mark at the end needs to be nudged closer, for the same equal-gap reason. Also, the exclamation mark after "slave" should be the same red as the rest of the sentence, not the purple of "slave" (as opposed to the coloring of the exclamation mark of "Shizuku!" in the first picture, which is fine since that is the whole sentence).

The chapter titles are not final yet.

ok, so i guess this is the plan for now.
i'll go ahead with v2 ch1. klsymph, you concentrate on proofreading and editing/smoothing v1 since u have probably read the jap raws to some extent.
goodguyliu, i'll send my tl's to you for edits. for you, u'll be the main editor for v2 till symph gets back. i'll leave the heavy editing to symph after he finishes things with v1. till then, i'll be slavedriving you nyahahaha after you do ur initial edits, just discuss with symph for the rest. then post it in the wiki. i wont be here for that though.
duelblades...well, help the other two editors i guess? well, i think u should finalize the edits with symph and round up volume 1 once and for all
in anycase, symph will concentrate on completing the edits for v1 till its good for a full project.
liu, do the edits for the chaps i am tling.and after that, if u have time, u should help symph with v1.

the exclamation mark was my miss, but the reds in the Shizuku picture are actually different shades of red since i directly took them from the original picture so that should be fine, but if u want them the same i can do that.

The quotation marks look good. We should probably go with this "outlines touching" placement from now on.

As for the differing reds, I think they should be the same. In the Japanese text, the difference is subtle almost to invisibility, but in English it's more obvious to me for some reason. This violates the visual design principle of contrast (things that look almost the same look like mistakes, so either make them the same or make them very different). What does everyone else think? It's a petty detail, I know, but as an editor I'm all about ironing out the petty details.

The Shizuku pic looks good. For the Stella picture, can you angle the text more horizontally, so that it doesn't block the yellow cylinder (what is that anyway?) and also it becomes readable without the reader tilting his head as much?
