Is it bad that I'm starting to check 3 times a day if there is change? I may or may not have a small small smallllllll problem.

So...can someone tell me why this project must keep the "teaser" tag, when it fulfils the criteria of an approved project?

For quality reasons, I would like to have the time to fully proofread and edit volume one, and create PDFs based on those edits, before the project is considered finalized and given status as a non-teaser. The difference in readability between volume one's chapter one (which already has 40+ hours of editing invested) and chapter four should illustrate the improvement possible. This delay may not be strictly necessary by the site's definitions of project status, but having the teaser tag there is a matter of professionalism for me; I can't consider the volume "done" until at least this much is complete, and I don't feel calling the project anything but a teaser is yet justified by the quality of the first volume. I apologize for how slowly proofreading and editing are proceeding due to my own time constraints, but I do consider them extremely important--I wouldn't have signed up as an editor if I wasn't going to sink a lot of time and effort into that role, and that does imply the project needs a lot of time and effort. The teaser tag helps me keep that in mind.

In other matters, I suspect that the people working on the Rakudai Kishi manga scanlation (Underdog Scans, MAL Scanlations) sometimes crib details from our text. It would be nice to have at least "Baka-Tsuki translators" on their credit page, if that's the case.

On the plus side, I got into Project Translators.

On the topic of mangas yes some people so translate mangas based off novels on BT do use our "Project Specific Terminology and Guidelines". Some people do reference BT but some people don't. Some people do their own translations as well. The thing is people take from BT because they want the terms to be the same as BT to not give people a headache. The same applies the other way around when the manga has a translation before the novel. It also applies to animes a prime example i remember is when a group said for the SAO anime "Terminologys from BT". Somethings though is it is also the translator on BT that is doing the manga or anime translations or the other way around.

Chapter 2 is finished but needs HEAVY editing.
well, that's it for me. My tests start next week. and i definitely wont tl chapter 3...uh-huh. nope, never.
so well, i'll be back next month and start tling ch4,n the epilogue. but not ch 3.
so if someone doesnt do it, it'll be left untl'ed till..well, someone does it (nyahaha dark smile)

remember, if ch3 isnt tl'ed then i wont post ch4 even if i finish it. i dont like reading the later chapter before the first ones. and i wont make people read the novel like that either. (idc what the reader want lolz -evil grins-)
