For years I've told Manga-updates to remove the "tragedy" tag, since people put it there for either spoilers (for example, any series that have a bad ending) or more commonly, for series where anything even remotely "sad" happens. In this case, if you read the first chapter you'll see the sad childhood of the MC, and such thing is, what M-U calls "tragedy". If you consider that anything that has sad moments qualify as a "tragedy" then yes, Tsurugi no Joou to Rakuin no Ko is a tragedy. But if you are talking about tragedy as a literary genre, then of course not.
The problem here is that Manga-Updates confuses tragedy as an event and tragedy as a genre, that's why I recommend to completely ignore the "tragedy" tag when you look at M-U because it can mean anything, from the death of a secondary character to the death of the protagonist' dog.

Thank you for translating this, this one is really different than the rest of the translated LN here. A bit like berserk, so if you read this after you read berserk it's easier to visualize some of the thing (like giant broadsword chopping several mercenaries body at once).

Hope this get promoted to full time. :)

Read the translated chapters and they are really good, the main character is interesting because he's not weak at all and his "Brand of the Beast" makes me want to know more about it, Minerva is also a good heroine even if a bit tsunderish. Gonna keep following this one.

Thanks for the translations Zephyrus.
