Well, I guess 'tis one of those times when ya read a novel and you become unable to tear yourself away because you just love the story. Doesn't happen often with me, but when it does its hard to get away xD

Looking forward to that - In case you need any particular help on this one I'd be glad to assist. I am fairly confident in my english so I could at least try and read through it to check if there is need for any minor edits.

It's fine. Now that I finally found the RAWs in Japanese, I could start translating more accuratebly.

BTW, do you guys want me to add -san, -kun, -chan, or whatever?

I dunno about other people but personally I like having keeping the honorifics in translations. It kinda feels weird to see japanese names without the usual honorifics. Guess its up to you.

I know that in the official English LNs, there aren't. I'll stick with them, but don't get angry if you see one or two missing in a chapter.

LOL, I just read the first part of Volume 2, chapter 1:
Spoiler! :
To quote Hikaru: "There's still 5--no, 6--no, fourty, fifty girls with whom I can't help but to be worried about."

EDIT:
A few lines after:
Spoiler! :
"In fact, there are still four--no, five hundred girls."

*Facepalm*

Well China does have official light novel localizations.Occasionally its releases are even faster than its counterpart across the strait. The ~50% cheaper price tag is another significant bonus.

Comparison of the China and Taiwan releases:

Yet only Taiwan releases get into Kino....

And they are thicker, more cumbersome and more ex than the originals WTF

Not that I can read them anyway....

And I'll have 3 of Nomura's books, Bungaku Shoujo, by the end of the week, if Amazon Canada is quick enough. Hope that I'll have less difficulties translating after...

Reference material for the way the publisher translates the author's style into English?

Yeah. Generally, professionals translate better than us, I think.

Well, 'tis their job so I cannot argue with what you say. Though the dedication thats needed to do such a translation as a fan yields very nice results in my opinion.
