Ha! If I'm acting manager, I'll have my name in that part of the staff listing, not an afternote attached to my translator credit. Enjoy third billing as it reflects your true level of influence and/or the fact that your name comes after mine in alphabetical order!
As my first act as official acting manager, I'll put lifeman120 in the editors list. Two volumes after he started deserving to be there.
yea yea~ whatever
i dont mind. remember why you got hooked to this tl in the first place. and i am not part of the administrative staff. i am a translator. and i've been directly and inderectly related to BT sice 2007-08 (from 2011 directly). so yea, i dont mind at all. not having through and through influence isnt a problem either. I will just tl and post for the readers to enjoy.
so now, here;s a simple command that should make both yours and my life a lot easier. it will most probably also prevent future chaos.
I want you to create a project guideline. How this project should be translated. How the format should be. If the newer translators want to join, then they HAVE to read that and follow that. If they cannot, then hell they can just host their own works in a different place.
Not in the wiki project that 'I' created ~(=3=)~
the guidelines should include the issues that we have discussed over, the issues that caused even bigger issues, and the basics of Rakudai tirms.
I want your opinions on the way the novel should be handled. About the furigana, the excessive stuff (kenjitsu and whatnot

), localization and other things that you like or dislike. make a nice list, be it short or long. of things that you want to do about this. (dont be TOOOOO nit-picky though).
Send it to me, i'll read it and throw in my own suggestions. 'If' I like it then i'll give the green light. namely this
smiley -> (

)
and then, post it in a nice big place where everyone can see them. I'll also link them in the wiki page.
-----(if this doesnt make you happy then i do not know what will)
all the stuff about Kouen is in the past. if he no longer wants in then who are we to stop him? forget about all that and concentrate on what you want to do for now but do not, i repeat, DO NOT turn future events and problems, issues that needs solutions into a clash where none of the parties come to an agreement. we dont need a silent war here.
I'm guessing the guidelines will help in that cause. Because it's like implementing rules (which is against BT policy but i'll just shoot through it again ~(=3=)~ ).
if anyone interested can't obey them then he should start another 'Rakudai' project and host his stuff there.
