絶剣技――終ノ型、天絶閃衝(ラスト・ストライク)

It comes from the furigana.

Dang, the third time now that a translation I found odd is due to furigana.
One of these days, I'm going to learn Japanese. =_=

Edit: Are you already diving into volume 10? O.o Your translation pace astounds me. Although I guess it's understandable if you're fluent in the respective languages. XD

It's really not that hard to pick up hiragana and katakana (in order to try and puzzle out furigana). Knowing Chinese goes a long way towards kanji too...the real devil of a problem is the grammar :/

こうじょ【公女】

貴族の家の女の子。
Since 公女 refers to a daughter from a family of nobles rather than royalty, I suggest that Leonora's "Dragon Princess" title be updated.
"Dragon Lady"
"Dragon Noblewoman"
"Dragon Peeress"

Which one sounds best?
Lady I guess.

Btw, I won't be touching the rest of v10, since I'm trying to work on something else.

I think "Lady Dragon" (with carefully used articles) is preferable to "Dragon Lady". The latter sounds like a freakshow attraction at the carnival. In titles, Lady comes first anyway.

Well, Dracunia is a 公国(dukedom or principality). Just from the characters, 公女sounds like the daughter of its ruler ( I don't remember if this is actually specifically mentioned in the novel). If this is the case, I don't see what's wrong with princess.

From wikipedia:
As women slowly gained more autonomy and respect in European history, the title of princess became simply the female counterpart of prince; it does not necessarily imply being merely married to a prince, she may be the unmarried daughter of a monarch or other royal or noble of sufficient rank (king, queen, prince, grand duke, duke, or other). Further, a princess may be a hereditary sovereign, head of state in her own right.

good search regarding that. Princess sounds fine in that case.

Took me forever, but I finally finished reading volume 10 in Chinese.

All I have to say is "WHY DO THEY HAVE TO SPLIT THINGS INTO TWO VOLUMES?!"

Spoiler! :
Eight is unimportant.
Just back story, harem development, and Greyworth passing on Absolute Blade Art's final form to Kamito (losing her ability to use magic in the process)
