Tsukumodo Antique Shop

Post by EusthEnoptEron »

This is the feedback thread for Tsukumodo Antique Shop —handling "mysteriosities"—.

The first chapter is up in its entirety, but remains unedited at the moment.
How did you find it? Would you be interested in reading more? Share your thoughts. Nothing boosts my motivation more than feedback.

Yeah, the setting is kinda similar. I'd say the main differences are that the stories are interconnected and that romance is a central theme. Also, there are no open strings. ;) Furthermore, in DnS I had the feeling the writer just made up a setting and started to write stories, much like his personal playground, but here I feel that the writer actually tells a "story" -- which you can observe in the fact that there are already a lot of secrets hidden in the first chapter. :D

I finally read it.

Well, really, it reminds me about Mirai Fukuin. With reverted positions of a killer and a victim.
I'd say that I already like setting and my first thought after looking at color illustrations was 'Is this shop something like Guran no Dou from KnK?'. Most likely, the answer is no. Need to wait for normal appearance of the shop owner.
The characters are likeable and understandable. Maybe, I thought about coincidences in 'Another' just now only because characters' behavior was more natural? Don't know.
The autmosphere was good. Cannot say anything else.
I'd look forward to this project.

Honorable mention for moderating and translating Campione, editing Gekkou and Hakomari.

 As always, good taste :D . Have just read through the first chapter. As for me, it's interesting and it reminds me a bit of DnS. I would like to read more, if possible.

man, you have the same taste as me, Eustenopteron)) looking forward to the next chapters. i'm really relieved that it's not episodic 100% and that romance is present. i thought it was going to be one of those series which just teases you with a pretty girl. and you make alot less mistakes than i'm used to on BT, so that's really awesome. (i'll probably help edit, if you don't mind)

Finally started making progress again. Current status: 36 / 76 pages. Updating the wiki as soon as I'm done with translating and editing.

Glad you like it so far. :D Also, thanks for the edits.

Look forward to chapter four. The fourth chapter of nearly all novels do focus purely on the two of them.

Finished reading chapter 1 and I got one word to say: awesome. And when I knew that Eusth was the one who translated it, I thought to myself: "That's why it was so damn good." So, thank you for translating this light novel and keep up the good work.
